Fees & Insurance

  • It depends on your insurance provider. Psychotherapy is not publicly funded under OHIP in Ontario unless provided by a Psychiatrist or General Practitioner. Many workplace health plans cover therapy services, so we recommend checking with your insurance provider to verify coverage. Some plans cover services by a Registered Social Worker but not those by a Registered Psychotherapist. Our services are covered under Psychotherapy and Psychology.

  • Our rates vary based on the therapist and the service offered. General therapeutic services range from $150 to $250 per session.. We also offer an Affordable Counselling Program for clients facing financial barriers.

  • No, we do not bill insurance companies directly. After payment, we provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company.

Policies & General Info

  • We require 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel without notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee at your therapist’s full rate. This policy includes no-shows and last-minute rescheduling.

  • Yes, a good therapeutic relationship is important. We recommend trying 2-3 sessions, and if it’s not the right fit, we will work with you to refer you to another therapist who is a better fit for you.

  • No, we do not provide emergency services. In crisis situations, please contact local emergency resources or call 911.

  • We offer secure virtual video, and phone sessions. You can choose the format that best suits your needs.
